Buddy Kofoid Wins World of Outlaws Sprint Car Feature at Belle-Clair
Kofoid took the lead from Garet Williamson in a shifting 40-lap feature, then held off Parker Price Miller to win at Belle-Clair.

Buddy Kofoid turned a race of changing leads and interrupted momentum into a victory at Belle-Clair Fairgrounds Park Speedway, winning the World of Outlaws Sprint Car Series’ 40-lap feature on October 17, 2026. Parker Price Miller finished second, while Karter Sarff completed the top three at the rebuilt quarter-mile dirt track in Belleville, Illinois.
The feature hinged on traffic. Garet Williamson led early, but Kofoid repeatedly challenged as the leaders worked through slower cars. Williamson briefly reclaimed the front before Kofoid moved ahead again. Williamson’s run ended on lap 30, when contact with a lapped car sent him upside down in turn one. He climbed out, and the race resumed with Kofoid leading Price Miller.
Kofoid opened a gap after the restart and held it to the finish. The result capped a race in which track position and traffic management mattered as much as the front-row start: Price Miller had begun the feature first, Williamson second, and Kofoid third.
Lead changes shaped the feature
Williamson got the jump at the start and led through the opening laps. An early caution followed Will Armitage’s stalled car on lap three; after the restart, two cars tangled in turn one and Cole Macedo’s car flipped, bringing out a red flag. Both drivers were reported okay. Bill Balog later slowed to trigger another caution.
Kofoid moved into second by using the cushion, then took the lead on lap 11 when Williamson checked up in traffic. Two laps later, Williamson worked the bottom line to get back in front. Kofoid retook the lead on lap 15, Williamson reclaimed it a lap later, and Kofoid passed him again on lap 18. Williamson bobbled coming off turn four, giving Kofoid room to build an advantage.
Williamson remained in contention until the lap-30 incident. After the red flag, Kofoid led Price Miller on the restart and stretched the margin. The feature results list Williamson 21st, marked DNF; Armitage, Austin Hartmann and Zach Daum also retired before the finish.
Feature results
Michael Kofoid won from third on the grid. Price Miller, who started first, finished second, and Sarff advanced from fourth to third. Sheldon Haudenschild made one of the largest climbs among the top finishers, starting 24th and taking fourth. Spencer Bayston rounded out the top five.
Carson Macedo finished sixth, followed by Logan Schuchart, Emerson Axsom, Donny Schatz and David Gravel. Steven Snyder Jr. was 11th, with Skylar Gee 12th and Balog 13th. Bryce Lucius, Gage Montgomery, Cole Macedo, Chris Windom, Joe B Miller, Darin Naida and Bryce Norris completed the finishers from 14th through 20th.
The four drivers recorded as DNF were Williamson, Armitage, Hartmann and Daum. Their listed starting positions were second, ninth, 17th and sixth, respectively. The finishing order shows how much the feature changed after the front group encountered traffic and repeated restarts.
How the field lined up
Price Miller won the eight-lap Toyota Dash, ahead of Williamson and Kofoid. Sarff placed fourth, followed by Gravel, Daum, Balog and Bayston. Those results set the first eight feature positions, putting Price Miller and Williamson on the front row and Kofoid on the second row.
Qualifying was led by Colton Robinson in Flight A, with a lap of 9.740 seconds. Sarff was second at 9.808, and Price Miller third at 9.903. Kofoid qualified fourth in that flight at 9.908. In Flight B, Zach Daum was quickest at 9.983 seconds, ahead of Gravel at 10.141 and Balog at 10.166.
Kofoid had topped the combined hot-lap list earlier, recording 9.738 seconds. Robinson was next at 9.844, followed by Carson Macedo at 9.899. The hot-lap order did not dictate the feature’s front row, but it put Kofoid among the quickest drivers before the night’s qualifying and preliminary races.
Heat and last-chance results
Price Miller won Heat 1, with Bayston second and Armitage third. Sarff took Heat 2 ahead of Kofoid and Carson Macedo. Daum won Heat 3, followed by Balog and Cole Macedo, while Gravel led Heat 4 ahead of Williamson and Gee.
Bryce Norris won the 12-lap MicroLite Last Chance Showdown. Darin Naida finished second and Steven Snyder Jr. third; Haudenschild was fourth, then Jake Neuman and Logan Julien. Haudenschild’s fourth-place finish in the B Main did not keep him from making the feature’s biggest climb among its top four, as he started 24th and finished fourth.
The complete 40-lap finishing order was Kofoid, Price Miller, Sarff, Haudenschild, Bayston, Carson Macedo, Schuchart, Axsom, Schatz, Gravel, Snyder Jr., Gee, Balog, Lucius, Montgomery, Cole Macedo, Windom, B Miller, Naida and Norris, followed by the four DNF drivers: Williamson, Armitage, Hartmann and Daum.
