Skoda’s Solid editions bundle popular comfort and parking features across four models, with claimed savings of up to €2,900.

Skoda Solid Editions Set Fabia, Scala, Kamiq and Karoq Prices from €24,280

Skoda’s new Solid editions bring a broader equipment bundle to four of its German-market models, with entry prices ranging from €24,280 for the Fabia to €36,050 for the Karoq. The buyer proposition is straightforward: alloy wheels, the Loft Design Selection interior and several equipment packages come as standard, while Skoda claims savings of up to €2,900 against comparably equipped regular versions.

The editions cover the Fabia, Scala, Kamiq and Karoq, but the standard kit varies by model. That matters when comparing the headline prices: the Fabia starts with a modest naturally aspirated engine and manual gearbox, while the larger models include more comfort and visibility equipment. Skoda says the maximum customer benefit differs by range, so the top saving applies only to a particular model and configuration.

Fabia Solid starts at €24,280

The Fabia Solid is the least expensive route into the range. Its standard exterior specification includes 16-inch Proxima alloy wheels in grey with black aero inserts, darkened rear and rear side windows, and preparation for a towbar. Inside, the edition uses Skoda’s Loft Design Selection.

The “Visibility & Light Plus” package adds LED headlamps with cornering and turning lights, high-beam assist, a rain sensor, an auto-dimming rear-view mirror and electrically folding door mirrors. The “Parking” package brings front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and KESSY keyless access. Drive Mode Select is included from 70 kW (95 PS) upward.

Five engine and transmission combinations are available. The €24,280 starting price buys the 1.0-litre naturally aspirated engine with 59 kW (80 PS) and a five-speed manual gearbox. Skoda puts the maximum saving for this model at €1,800. Buyers considering the entry version should weigh that price against the more powerful options in the same range, since the quoted starting figure applies specifically to the 80 PS manual.

Scala and Kamiq share a larger equipment bundle

The Scala Solid and Kamiq Solid have a common set of headline features. Both ride on 17-inch Propus Aero alloy wheels, finished in gloss black with machined surfaces, and include towbar preparation and a heated steering wheel. Their standard “Visibility & Light Plus,” “Winter Plus” and “Comfort” packages add Matrix LED headlamps with dynamic light assist, a heated windscreen, heated front seats, front and rear parking sensors, a reversing camera and KESSY keyless access.

Each model offers five engine and transmission combinations, with a 1.0 TSI producing 70 kW (95 PS) and paired with a five-speed manual at the entry point. The Scala Solid starts at €29,630, and Skoda quotes a saving of up to €2,100. The Kamiq Solid begins at €30,840, with a stated maximum benefit of €2,000.

The equipment gives these two editions a more substantial winter and parking specification than the Fabia’s, including a heated windscreen and heated front seats. For drivers who would otherwise add those features individually, the bundled approach may simplify the comparison. The source figures don’t break down the value of each package, though, so the relevant benchmark is the price of a regular car with similar equipment.

Karoq Solid tops the range

The Karoq Solid sits at the top of the four-model line-up. Its distinguishing exterior details are 17-inch Scutus alloy wheels in anthracite with matt-black aero inserts. Standard equipment includes a swivelling towbar, heated steering wheel and KESSY access, alongside the Winter, Parking and Visibility & Light packages.

That equipment brings Matrix LED headlamps, LED ambient lighting and a reversing camera. The Karoq retains all six engine and transmission combinations offered in the regular range. At the entry point, the 1.0 TSI ACT delivers 85 kW (115 PS) and is paired with a six-speed manual gearbox. This version starts at €36,050; the maximum stated saving for the Solid edition is €2,900.

Warranty terms and the price comparison

All four Solid editions include an additional three-year warranty, extending the standard manufacturer coverage to five years in total, subject to a maximum combined mileage of 50,000 kilometres. Skoda says customers can raise that limit to 100,000 or 150,000 kilometres for an extra charge. The source doesn’t state the cost of those higher mileage limits.

The editions’ main appeal is the equipment packaged around each model, backed by a claimed price advantage that reaches its highest point with the Karoq. The starting prices alone don’t show how each engine, gearbox and optional mileage extension affects the final bill. For a useful comparison, buyers will need to match the Solid’s included features against a regular version configured with equivalent kit; the edition’s strongest case is likely for customers who want those comfort, lighting and parking features already bundled.
